Hi! I’m Anna, a second year Presidential Scholar at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I am pursuing a degree in interior design, and minors in art and fashion history.
I have had intern experience at both residential and commercial interior design firms. In addition, I am a published writer and well versed in the Adobe suite, WordPress, and AutoCAD.
Located at 465 Grand Street in New York City, the FCancer Headquarters was my first multistory building and accounted for 18,000 sq/ft of designable space. In this project, I created an exhibition space, exterior façade, and double heighted area.
This essay was written and published in the summer of 2020 as I was an intern for the Fashion History Timeline. This project was entirely inspired by an innovative design material where I then created an office space that was highlighted with a showroom.
