“Art is not what you see but what you make others see.” – Edgar Degas
Hi! I’m Anna, a third year Presidential Scholar at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I am pursuing a degree in interior design, and minors in art and fashion history. I have had intern experience at both residential and commercial interior design firms. In addition, I am a published writer and well versed in the Adobe suite, WordPress, and AutoCAD.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and moved to New York City when I was 18 to attend college at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In high school, I was apart of the mentorship program where I was able to intern at two established design firms. I also cheered throughout high school and taught youth gymnastic classes at my childhood gym.
I served on the junior board of the Settlement Home for Children, a female foster home and support system for girls who have experienced serious trauma. I also participated in the National Charity League through middle and high school. The mother and daughter philanthropic based program also encourages leadership and cultural awareness through different meetings and events.
